A request has been submitted to Harrow Planning for an
Environmental Impact Assessment scoping opinion
for the use of part of the land at Broadfields, Headstone Lane as a
75 pitch caravan/camping site (planning ref P/0170/12).
The Planning Department's response is now on the
council website at www.harrow.gov.uk/planning.
The deadline has passed but the council will still accept comments
on Outline Planning application P/3405/11 for the Kodak site.

Harrow council proposes to tackle the high vacancy rates in North Harrow shops by creating a Local Development Order (LDO) in certain areas to allow easier change of use of the ground floor. The consultation runs until 24 February.

Look out for the Spring Event in North Harrow shopping area
on Fri 9 Sat 10 Sun 11 March 2012.
There will be a street performances, craft stalls and a street market.
There has been such a great response from people wanting stalls at the
street market that the planned continental market has been deferred

Sadly, it seems that the Mayor of London has decided not to support North Harrow's imaginative bid for a community centre over the library.
