Street Representatives

Our Street Representatives perform a vital function for the Association as an essential link between the members at large and the Committee. So that the task does not become too much a burden it is intended that no Representative should have more than 50 houses to look after on his/her "patch".

They have three main roles to fulfil:
* to distribute the A.G.M. notice and the Bulletin, normally published three or four times yearly
* to collect the annual subscription; this is currently £4 per household per year
* to be the contact point for the members in their "patch"

Our Street Representatives will be better known to their members than most of the Executive Committee. Their personal contact is a way for residents’ views, c oncerns , information or queries to be passed on to keep the Committee in touch with what crops up at the grass roots. The more local Representatives there are, the more efficient and effective the Association can be.

If you think that you can help your fellow residents in this way please email our Membership Secretary on hramembership@googlemail.com or use the form on the “Contact Us” page of this website, gi ving a contact email address or telephone number .

A Current Street Campaign

A small committee of Elmcroft Crescent, North Harrow residents are in the process of organising a campaign to try to:
* overcome dangerous conditions experienced by many residents when exiting from local roads onto Headstone Lane
* improve conditions at the traffic lights at the junction of Headstone Lane / George V Avenue / Pinner Road, in order to try to reduce the number of traffic accidents, to assist pedestrians when they cross the road and to improve traffic flow.

We are being guided and helped by Mr James Bond, former Residents’ Association Committee Member and future Independent Candidate for Harrow Council.

Does this affect you? Would you like your local issues highlighted on our website? Contact us on enquiry@headstoneresidentsassociation.co.uk or use the form on the “Contact Us” page of this website.

We look forward to hearing from you.
